Know the signs. Save a life.
Stroke and traumatic brain injury affect millions every year. Awareness is the first act of love.
B.E.F.A.S.T.
A simple way to remember the warning signs of a stroke. Share it widely it saves lives.
Sudden loss of balance or coordination.
Blurred or lost vision in one or both eyes.
Face droops or feels numb on one side.
Arm weakness one arm drifts down when raised.
Slurred speech or difficulty understanding.
Time to call emergency services every minute counts.
For Survivors
Recovery is a road, not a switch. You are doing more than you know. Rest is not retreat it is repair. Each day you keep going is a quiet act of courage.
For Caregivers
Your love is medicine. So is your sleep. Be patient with the one you care for, and unbearably gentle with yourself. You are not alone in this room.
For TBI Awareness
Traumatic brain injuries are often invisible but the road back is real. Healing the brain takes time, grace, and a community that believes in you.
For the Long Haul
Recovery is measured in years, not weeks. Celebrate millimeters. Trust the process. Tomorrow has more for you than today could see.
"He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak."
- Isaiah 40:29
